Melvin Williams, 74, of Manchester, Maryland died Sunday, April 28, 2013. Born April 1, 1939, in Tryon, North Carolina, Grumpy was the son of Melva "Pid" Pack and Bernard "Ben" Williams of Baltimore, Maryland. He was the husband of Louise Williams who he was married to for 25 years. He graduated high school from Parkville High, where he was a member of the "Matadors." He retired as a plumbing salesman for B.C. Herman Co. after 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, auctions and flea markets, gliders, and his Studebaker. Surviving are Louise, sons Geoff and Greg; granddaughters Jenna, Britney, Ashley, and Cheryl; grandsons Cole and Dale. He was predeceased by his brother Roger; father Ben; mother Pid.

The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at which time funeral services will begin. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
