Michael Rex Jolly Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Michael Rex Jolly, Sr., surrounded by his loving family on April 4, 2025. Michael, was the cherished husband of the late Pamela Anne (nee Patterson) Jolly. His devotion to his family knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered.

As a devoted and proud father, Michael leaves behind his children, Mark Ronald Jolly and his wife Carlye, Michael “Mickey” Rex Jolly, Jr. and his wife Brenda, Shannon Beth Sweaney and her husband Christopher “Chris”, and Lauren Joy Neff and her husband Rob. His role as a father was not only a title but a lifelong commitment to nurturing, guiding, and loving his children unconditionally.

Michael's presence brought immense joy to the lives of his grandchildren: Tayler Marie Jolly, Christopher Michael Jones and his wife Kristen Nguyen, Noelle Renee Neff, Garrett Michael Jolly, Alexander "Alex" Nicholas Sweaney, Ethan Michael Sweaney, Madison Marie Neff, and Jake David Neff and his great- granddaughter, Aurora Linh Ha Jones. He delighted in their laughter, celebrated their achievements, and his love for them knew no bounds. In heavenly reunion, Michael will be greeted by his precious angel and granddaughter, Makayla Ashley Belcastro, whose memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.

In addition to his immediate family, Michael is survived by his loving sister, Patricia Gleason, alongside the memory of his late siblings Buell W. Jolly, Jr. and Jacquelin Bazzy. His warmth and affection extended beyond his immediate family to his nieces and nephews, who will always cherish the special moments shared with their beloved uncle.

Michael was grateful for the support of his former wife, Judith Ann (nee Rowe) Jolly. Her friendship and care meant the world to him, and her presence brought comfort and strength during both joyous and challenging times.

A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together to honor his memory. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army (www.salvationarmyusa.org) in Michael's honor, continuing his legacy of generosity and compassion.
