On October 24, 2026, Milton “Put” Louis Rowles passed away, leaving behind many cherished memories with his family and friends.

Milton was the beloved husband of Courtney (nee Murphy) Rowles and the late Mary “Cindy” Rowles; a loving father of Ashton Rowles; and the dear son of the late Milton Rowles and Myrtle (nee Kelly) Rowles. He was a longtime and treasured friend of 52 years to Charlie Bell, with whom he shared many years of friendship and memories. Milton was also a loving son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Cooper, and his rabbit, Princess Bun Bun.

Milton enjoyed life and had many interests that brought him happiness throughout the years. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed collecting baseball cards and sports memorabilia. He had a great appreciation for music and loved attending rock concerts. He especially enjoyed spending time at the legendary Hammerjacks, where he also worked as a member of the security staff and made many fond memories. His passion for music was also reflected in his longtime support and advocacy for the local radio station, 100.7 The Bay.

Milton was also known for his love of good food. He particularly enjoyed dining at Sabatino's Restaurant and sharing a good meal with family and friends. His enthusiasm for food extended to competitive eating, where he earned the nickname “The Cheesesteak King,” a title he enjoyed and one that will surely bring a smile to those who knew him.

Milton valued his family, his friendships, and the time spent with those close to him. Whether enjoying a sporting event, listening to music, sharing a meal, or simply spending time together, he appreciated the moments and memories made along the way. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Milton's memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), an organization dedicated to providing education, advocacy, and support to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. Donations may be made at www.nami.org

The family sincerely appreciates the prayers, kindness, love, and support extended to them during this difficult time.
