On November 20, 2011 Muriel Isabel Watters Thatcher beloved wife of the late William Pearce Thatcher; devoted mother of William Watters Thatcher and his wife Marie-Joelle, Julia Elsie Thatcher Wernz and her late husband Donald E. Wernz, Jr.; loving grandmother of Lisa Marie Kresl and her husband Blake, Timothy Scott Thatcher and his wife Tracy, D. Edward Wernz III, Stephanie Ann Weinsier and her husband Jeff, David Thatcher Wernz and his wife Stacey, Kristi Leigh Wernz Girdner and her husband Ted; loving great grandmother of Haley, Lucie, Jack, Will, Carly, Juliana, Alexandra, Drew, Zachary; sister of James Watters, Lawrence Watters and his wife Dorothy and the late Walter Watters and Marian Seay. "Milly" was a beloved caring and charismatic RN from the 1939 graduating class of The Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, MD, and a devoted care-giver throughout her professional career and daily life.

A memorial service will be held at Idlewylde United Methodist Church 1000 Regester Avenue Baltimore, Md. 21239 on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 2pm. The family will receive friends at the Wernz home 1302 Heather Hill Road Baltimore, Md. 21239 on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 4-7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Idlewylde United Methodist Church or Board of Child Care 3300 Gaither Rd. Baltimore, Md. 21244.
