Nancy Lee Mast (Frantz)

On Wednesday, November 7, 2012 Nancy Lee Mast passed away and went to Heaven to be reunited with her beloved Walter.

Nancy was born August 25, 1925 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Herbert and Pansy Frantz. She was united in marriage to Walter M. Mast on June 22, 1946. He preceded her in death September 10, 1999. They were married for 53 blissful years.

In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert Frantz Jr. and Donald Frantz.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Suzanne Opdyke and husband Michael; son Charles Mast and wife Cari; granddaughter Kimberly Marcum and husband Josh, her great-grandchildren Braden, Rylee, and Jackson; and grandson Scott Opdyke and wife Candice. She is also survived by her Sisters-in-law and dear friends, Charlotte (Don) Frantz and Jean (Herb) Frantz.

Mrs. Mast was a longtime member of Salem United Methodist Church where she served as Treasurer of the Food Pantry for many years. She also loved knitting prayer shawls for hospice patients at Franklin Square Hospital and was an active member of the United Methodist Women and Friends of Jerusalem Mill organization.

Nancy was dearly loved for her loving heart, funny sense of humor, and generosity to others. She will be dearly missed and will always hold a special place in each of our hearts.
