NATALIE STEFFEY FREEMAN passed away on 26 July 2026, after a brief illness.

Natalie played piano and organ for decades, beginning at Kresge’s music section in the 1940s and continuing through her time at Evangelical Presbyterian Church and finally at Oak Crest Village where she also gave concerts on the electric keyboard.

In 1950, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Music from The King’s College, which was located in Delaware at the time.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Emery Freeman, with whom she ministered for over 15 years in Baltimore Youth for Christ. She is survived by her son Daniel Carey Freeman (Cindy) of Delaware as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Natalie’s life at Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road, on Thursday, July 30, from 2:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Another visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00a.m. at Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
