Norma Helena Hare (Hedderick)

Hare, Norma Helena: On September 17, 2011 Norma H. (nee Hedderick) beloved wife of Michael J.Hare, Sr., devoted mother of Jean M. Troy, Michael J. Hare, Jr., Suesanne P. Cameron, Timothy J. Hare, David M. Hare and the late Barry F. Hare, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Norma attended and graduated from Church of St Michael the Archangel School in Overlea, Institute of Notre Dam and Mercy School of Nursing, graduating with and RN. She took courses at Johns Hopkins and observed open heart surgery and also attended University of Maryland. Norma was a member of Notre Dam Alumni and Mercy Hospital Alumni Association.

A Christian Wake service will be held at the Lassahn Funeral Home (Overlea) 7401 Belair Rd. on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 8:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Overlea on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. Visiting Wednesday, September 21, 2011 & Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Atlantic General Hospital, 9733 Healthway Dr., Berlin, MD., 21811.
