On May 30, 2021, Ralph A. Bridges, Sr., age 71, passed away unexpectedly. He was the beloved husband for 38 years to Mary Theresa “Tisa” (nee Mazzella) Bridges; devoted father of Mindy Bockstie and her husband Scott, Andrea Palmerino and her husband Scott, Ralph Bridges, Jr., Gina Petr and her husband Mike, Dominic Bridges and his wife Marie, Veronica “Ronnie” Bridges and the late Diana Lynn Bridges; loving grandfather of Scott, Ciarra, Mason, Payton, Travis, Jacob, Maya, Austin, Chase, Theo, and Giuliano; son of the late Edward W. and Veronica P. Bridges; brother of the late Edward L. Bridges; and cherished son-in-law of Hannah M. Mazzella and the late Silverio J. Mazzella.
Ralph dedicated his entire adult life to the service of others. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran, retired as a Detective Sergeant after 38 years with the Baltimore County Police Department, and continued to serve as a security officer with Stevenson University for over 22 years.
The family will receive friends at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Road in Kingsville on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church 8420 Belair Road in Fullerton on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10:00am. Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you have Masses offered for the repose of the soul of Mr. Ralph A. Bridges, Sr. or send memorial contributions to Saint Joseph Catholic Church. www.stjoefullerton.org
