Philip George Kelmer

Philip George Joseph Kelmer left his earthly home for his heavenly home on November 16, 2024 after a brief illness. Born on December 15, 1942, the son of George Jospeh Kelmer and his wife, Camilla Mastrocola, he chose his mother’s birthday to make his appearance. Phil is survived by his sons Scott and Stephen Kelmer (Krystal Lewis) and their mother Frances (Richard) Thomas, his grandchildren Alyssa and Justin Kelmer and his great-granddaughter Claire Julian. He leaves behind his sisters and their families, Gloria Carfine (Vernon) and children Pamela English, Vernon and Michael Carfine, Linda Donnelly (Edward) and daughter Dawn. Camilla Starkey (William) and daughter Bridget Allison, son James Williams. His daughter-in-law for many years, Susan Kelmer, and his special friend Linda Evers will feel his absence.

There are many more family members and friends. Phil didn’t know any strangers because everywhere he went he made friends. This might be at the senior centers where he played scrabble and shot pool, the bowling lane or even McDonalds. He led an active life until a few days before he passed.

The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., located at 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Interment will be private.

If desired memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
