Phyllis Marie Taylor (Pittman)

On October 20, 2022 Phyllis Marie (nee Pittman) Taylor peacefully passed. She was the beloved wife of the late Lester Taylor; devoted mother of Dean Taylor, and Jeff Taylor and his wife Mary Angela; loving grandmother of Rachel Taylor and Jacob Taylor; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Cora (nee Bergman) Pittman; dear sister of the late Lois MacAnespie and the late Lucille Lee; she is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was a Charter Member of Middle River Baptist Church and was very active within, serving as a member of the Music Program and Sunday School Program, Committee Member for numerous Pastoral Searches, Flowers and Hospitality. She was an avid Church Historian and was the Church Clerk for over 60 years. She was employed for 47 years with Johns Hopkins University in the Biomedical Engineering Department. Phyllis was also a talented seamstress, which she enjoyed in her spare time.

The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Middle River Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends in church from 10:30am to 11:00am. Interment is private.
