Raymond H. Bitzel Sr.

On January 30, 2022 Raymond H. Bitzel, Sr. passed away. He was the beloved husband for 63 ½ years to Carolyn J. (nee Strohecker) Bitzel; devoted father of Raymond Bitzel, Jr. and his wife Denise, Susan Oursler and her husband Mark; loving grandfather of Alyssa Cleary and her husband Patrick, Aimee Bitzel, Stephen Oursler and his wife Racquelle, Katherine Oursler, and Benjamin Oursler; cherished great-grandfather of Aida Cleary; dear brother of the late Mildred Richard and her late husband George; brother-in-law of late Charles Strohecker and his late wife Doris; he is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Isaac Jogues Church on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:30am. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
