Rev. W. Jack Bussard Jr.

On November 20, 2018, Rev. W. Jack Bussard passed away; he was born on May 1, 1943; son of the late William Jack Bussard Sr and the late Ophelia (Donsife); brother of R. Frank Bussard and Naomi Ritchie.

Rev. Jack was a Methodist pastor for 38 years to several churches including Dorguth UMC, Union Square UMC, Rogers UMC, Olive Branch UMC, Cowenton UMC and his current church Monkton UMC.

He was a loving husband to Annamarie Bussard (Beecher) for 29 years. He had six children; his son Kelly Bussard and his wife Sandi; five daughters Karen Cumber and her husband David, Teresa Dorman and her husband Ken, Ginger Marino and her husband Kirk, Deborah Claridge and her husband Frank, and Maranda Jacob and her husband Bruce.

His was a loving Pop Pop of twenty grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cumber, Jessica Hawes, Liberty Dorman, Kassidy Cumber, Jazmyne Marino, Kennth Ray Dorman, Luke Dorman, Silas Dorman, Jedidiah Dorman, Reece Marino, Frankie Claridge, Chad Marino, Dinah Dorman, Jael Dorman, Samuel Dorman, Piper Jacob, Elora Dorman, Esther Dorman, Jackson Claridge and Lacey Jacob; and one great-granddaughter Evelyn Hawes.

Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. on Friday, November 23, 2018, from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 2 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated to make a donation, in memory of Rev. Bussard, to Monkton UMC at 1930 Monkton Road, Monkton, MD 21111 or Helping Up Mission at 1029 E. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202.
