Richard Paul Meisenhelder

On December 19, 2023, Richard Paul Meisenhelder passed away. A cherished companion to Dana Goodman, Richard also played a significant role as a father figure to Jordan Wells. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Eugene Meisenhelder; Pauline Mandel, and her late husband Richard; Ruth Seaby and her husband Richard; Robert Meisenhelder and his wife Pat Browne; and Rosemarie Meisenhelder. He was a beloved uncle to Melissa Wies and her husband Richard, Jessica Mandel, Richard Mandel II and his wife Jennifer, and Philip Browne. His legacy also extends to his great-nieces and nephews, Damian Wies, Madison Mandel, Caleb Wies, Alexandria Young, Nora Mandel, and Lennon Mandel, as well as his great-great-niece, Myla Mitchell.

Richard's life was marked by his passion for martial arts, where he excelled as an instructor and mentor. He was an Eagle Scout, served his country with honor in the army during the Vietnam War and as a federal employee for over 40 years. His love for country music and rock from the 60s and 70s brought him much joy. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.

We invite friends and family to join in celebrating Richard's life at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road, in Overlea. Visitation hours will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 12-2 pm and 4-6 pm. A memorial service will commence at 6 pm. The interment will be private.
