On July 12, 2017 Rita Mae Christ (nee Patnovic), beloved wife of the late Donald R. Christ; devoted mother of Timothy and Mary Christ, Karen and Paul Cannon, Susan and Richard Niller, Clare and William Owings, and Nancy and Steven Ogrysko; dear sister of the late Joseph Patnovic, John Patnovic, Helen Skitka, Martha Roderick and Robert Patnovic; loving grandmother of Kelly Halbert, Megan Cannon, Caitlin Owings, Benjamin Christ, Sean Cannon, Madison Niller, Shannon Ogrysko, Alexis Owings, Victoria Niller, Dayton Ogrysko and Colby Ogrysko; great grandmother of James Halbert. Rita was a Primary School teacher for 20 years in Baltimore County at Red House Run Elementary. She loved children, traveling with friends flower arranging, calligraphy and her home in Bethany Beach, DE. Private Internment at Highview Memorial Gardens.
