On December 22, 2012, Robert Thomas Baynes, Sr., owner of John G. Baynes and Sons Florist until his retirement, beloved husband of Isabel C. Baynes (nee Perkins); devoted father of Robert Baynes, Jr. and his wife Barbara and Christina Herr and her husband Edward; dear grandfather of Jessica Hagarty, Stephanie Baynes, Edward Herr, Jr. and Melissa Herr; brother of Elizabeth Ritter and her husband Henry; also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 7-9 pm and Thursday, December 27, 2012, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at Rosedale Baptist Church, 9202 Philadelphia Road, on Friday, December 28, 2012, with viewing from 9-10:00 am at which time services will begin. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
