Ronald Eugene Napper

Ronald Eugene Napper of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 77, after a lengthy hospital stay. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially enjoyed taking friends crabbing on his boat. He was also a professional archer and traveled around the country competing and collecting numerous trophies and awards. In his younger days, Ron built and drove his own race cars, traveling across the United States to compete. He was quite a man. He is predeceased by his parents, Okey and Margaret (nee Quillen) Napper; he is survived by his beloved wife of eight years, D. Gail (Rye) Napper; daughters, Lynne Rodden (Michael) and Cynthia Marie Brewer; brothers, Roger, Ricky and Thomas; loving grandchildren, Lee Rodden, Jonathan Brittain (Olivia), Nicholas Rodden, Shawna Ray, Toni Marie Brewer and Brooke Brewer; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Matthew, Brooks and Bryson

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 12022 Jerusalem Road (Kingsville) on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
