Rosemary S. Chapman (Sheldon)

November 1, 2023, Rosemary Sheldon Chapman passed away at age 91. Beloved wife of the late Frank E. Chapman Jr.; devoted daughter of the late Adelaide Cynthia Sheldon and William Wheeler Sheldon; devoted mother of David S. Chapman and wife Joyce Chapman, James M. Chapman and wife Gale Chapman and Daniel B. Chapman and wife Sharon Chapman; devoted grandmother of Cheryl Metallo, David Chapman Jr., Jonathan Chapman and wife Amy, Bryan Chapman and wife Leigh, Christopher Chapman and wife Amanda, Krystina Bloch and husband Bryan, Joseph Chapman and wife Marlene, Michael Chapman and wife Chelsea, and Zachary Chapman and wife Anna; devoted great-grandmother of Samantha White, Mackenzie White, Derrick Metallo Jr., Catherine Chapman, Scott Chapman, Rebecca Chapman, Ridgely Chapman and Ryder Chapman; step grandmother to Gail Moreau, Stephanie Schmitt and husband Justin, the late Elizabeth Boothe, Mareena Brown, Kaia Kenny, Kaori Kenny and step great-grandmother of Riley Boothe, Lucy Schmitt and Piper Schmitt.

Rosemary was a lifetime member of Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department. Rosemary served as Ems 2nd Lt. Vice President then became the 1st female President, EMS 1st Lt. at Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department and later became the 1st Female President of the BCVFA (Baltimore County Volunteer Fire Association) from 1991 to 1993. Rosemary began her volunteer service with Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department on April 5, 1976 and served 47 years. Rosemary was inducted into the Hall of Fame with BCVFA in 2002.
