Rowlan Walter Stumpf

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Rowlan W. Stumpf on July 14, 2025. Rowlan was the cherished husband of 75 years to the late Ann M. (nee Koudelka) Stumpf. He was a devoted and loving father to Rick Stumpf and his wife Kathy, Patty Redding and her husband Mike, Martin Stumpf and his wife Kim, and Bill Stumpf and his wife Wendy. Rowlan was also a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way in August, who will miss him dearly.

Born, January 31, 1927 to the late Walter H. Stumpf and Charlotte M. (nee Bethke) Stumpf. Rowlan was also survived by his loving sister, Kathy Johnson. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Frank Koudelka and sister-in-law, Marie Stevenson. He cherished the bonds he had with many loving nieces and nephews.

Rowlan and Ann's lives were vibrant shared passions and cherished activities. Together, they found joy in the spirited game of duckpin bowling, where their camaraderie was as strong as their competitive spirit. Their dedication to the Masons and the Boumi Temple was unwavering, reflecting their deep commitment to community and service. Among their fondest memories were the exhilarating moments spent behind the wheels of their Corvettes, proudly cruising in the Bel Air parade. As past members of the Bel Air Corvette Club, they relished the thrill of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts, creating lasting bonds and unforgettable experiences.

Rowlan proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, demonstrating great courage, honor, and dedication. His service to our nation will always be remembered with deep gratitude and respect.

The Stumpf family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your kindness and support have been a source of great comfort and strength to us.
