On November 11, 2013, Samuel E. Gibson, a Poly Tech graduate, employed with Esso/Exxon for over 30 years as a Computer Data Administrator, a World War II Navy Veteran- American Theatre ribbon Victory Medal recipient, fifty plus years as a member in good standing of the Masonic Oriental Lodge 158; but most meaningful a devoted husband of 50 years to Catherine Mildred (nee McKaig) Gibson until her unexpected departure in 2007; devoted father of W. Grant Gibson, Billie Barbara Summerhill, Victoria M. Napper and husband Thomas, also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was an avid equestrian. He and his treasured Arabian Cross, Ivory (& most recently Aaron), traveled many a mile together, over hill and dale. As a bird enthusiast he enjoyed tracking the annual hummingbirds. Always busy, he spent his spare time creating unique stained glass pieces for his home. Sam will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. (Kingsville) 11750 Belair Rd. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM. . Visiting Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
