Selmer A. Fiskum

On March 22, 2011, Selmer A. Fiskum, passed away at the age of 95. Selmer was born December 19, 1915 in North Dakota and was one of eight children born to Swen and Anne Fiskum. He moved to California in 1939 to attend aircraft mechanics school and then worked for Lockheed Aircraft Co. in Burbank, CA for 42 years. Mr. Fiskum was known for his sense of humor, love of sports, and his gentle personality. He was the beloved husband of the late Gladys Fiskum, honored father of Gary Fiskum and his wife Teresa, and loving grandfather of Kathleen and Jennie. He is also survived by his brothers Alvin and Kenneth and by numerous nephews and nieces.

Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Friday 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at Towson United Methodist Church, 501 Hampton Lane (Towson) on Saturday at 10:00 am. Interment St. Joseph Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
