Shun-Ju Hou (Song)

HOU, Shun-Ju December 26, 2011, Shun Ju Hou, beloved mother of two sons: William Yu-Cheng Hou of Baltimore, Richard Yu-Chen Hou of Vancouver, B.C.; two daughters, Chuan-Lun Hou, Yu-Chu Hou, and Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Born in Taiwan, she came to the United States with her eldest son’s family in the 1980s. She helped to raise two grandchildren and lived to see 8 great-grandchildren. She died at the age of 90. An avid traveler throughout her life, she traveled to countries such as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Panama and Canada. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

A private memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 7-9 AM Sunday, January 8, 2012, at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road, Kingsville, MD.
