Stanley Paul Yablonski

Stanley Paul Yablonski, 79, of Cambridge, Maryland, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024, at a hospital in Easton, Maryland. During his final moments, he was comforted by the presence of his son, Greg, and his longtime partner, Paula Pierce. Stanley faced acute myeloid leukemia with courage, engaging in a brief yet intense battle lasting less than two months.

Stanley was a beloved husband to his late wife, Betty Ann Yablonski (nee Brink), a dedicated father to Greg Yablonski and his wife Laura Batchelor, and to his late son Jason Yablonski, formerly married to Kate. His role as a grandfather brought joy into his life through his cherished grandchildren: Alan, Tyler, Caroline, Drew, and Mia Yablonski.

He leaves behind his brother Jim Yablonski, widower of Rose; his brother Tony Yablonski and wife Sherry; and his sister Connie Kowalski and her husband Matt. His family circle extends to include his brother-in-law Bob Brink, along with numerous adored nieces and nephews. His deep connection with his partner and caregiver, Paula Pierce, also enriched his life significantly.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony J. Yablonski, Sr., and Angeline Yablonski (nee Oroski), and his in-laws, Harold and Winona Brink (nee Slade).

Stanley's life was marked by his diverse interests and accomplishments. He held an engineering degree from the University of Maryland and had a varied career as an engineer, a salesman, and a business owner. In retirement, he relished traveling, dancing, spending time with loved ones, fishing, and bird watching. His absence will be deeply felt by the many friends and relatives whose lives he touched.

Family and friends are invited to honor Stanley's life at Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., located at 7401 Belair Road in Overlea, on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm. The interment will be held privately.
