Susan “Sue” Marie (née Hill) Koerber peacefully passed away on April 22, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Sue was the beloved wife of Edward “Ed” Stephen Koerber, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage built on love, devotion, and partnership. She was a loving and dedicated mother to Kim Pazourek and her husband Andrew, and Bryan Koerber and his wife Sara. Sue’s greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, Ethan Pazourek and Adley Koerber, who were so very special to her and brought endless happiness to her life.
She was a dear sister to David Hill and his late wife Cathy, Janet Ellsworth and her husband Bob, Betsy Moon and her husband Jim, and Tom Hill and his wife Pat. Sue was also a devoted sister-in-law to Arlene Prud’homme and her husband Gerry. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friends and their families, all of whom were touched by her kindness and warmth.
Sue dedicated 42 years of her life as a registered nurse, a profession she embraced with compassion, skill, and unwavering commitment. She was deeply caring and devoted to her work, always putting others before herself. Beyond her career, Sue was fiercely loyal—a protector and caretaker in every sense—whose love and strength were the foundation of her family.
Her strong faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Sue was deeply devoted to her church, and her dedication and commitment were evident in the way she lived—serving others with humility, kindness, and grace. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort, and it inspired the love and compassion she so freely shared with everyone around her.
The family will receive friends at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret Church on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
If desired, memorial contributions in Sue’s name may be made to St. Margaret Church in Bel Air or the Phoenix Society. Even in passing, Sue’s caring nature endured, as she requested and her family chose to give the gift of life through donation, touching lives in a profound and meaningful way.
The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support extended to them during this difficult time. Sue will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
