Susan Mae Townsend

Susan Mae Townsend, beloved by many, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023, surrounded by her family's warmth and love. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, cherished by her partner of 35 years, Robert Chatman, and her adoring children, Craig Costello, Victoria Costello and her wife Tina Jodoin, and Dana Costello. Susan's joy was further multiplied by her grandchildren, Brianna Malkus , Michelle White, and Lisa Costello, and her great-grandchildren, Aidan, Chloe, and Zeke. Her life was enriched by the love of Bob’s children and grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in passing were her parents, Edward Townsend and Anna May (nee Young) Townsend, her sister, Marjorie Bowman, and brother, Edward "Bub" Townsend.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care provided to Susan by the Gilchrist Home Hospice Care Team and her devoted caregiver, Tina Albrecht.
