Schoenfuhs: On February 7, 2011 The Rev. Walter P. Sr. former minister of St. James Ev. Lutheran Church beloved husband, of 54 years, of the late Mildred I. (nee Dobelman), devoted father of The Rev. Walter P. Schoenfuhs, Jr. Elizabeth A. Svoysky, JD. and Mary Ellen Schoenfuhs, JD, also survived by 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He attended Concordia University in Bronxville, N.Y, received his his MDiv and STM at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. and his MA at Washington University.
Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home (Overlea) 7401 Belair Rd. on Friday 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Further visiting at Immanuel Lutheran Church Saturday, 2/12/11, 10-11 AM at which time services will begin. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lutheran World Missions, 1101 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., 6th floor, Washington, D.C. 20004.
