Theodore Prince Brower peacefully passed away on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Ted was the beloved husband of 63 years to Kaye Lynn (nee Newburg) Brower, with whom he shared a lifetime of devotion, partnership, and cherished memories. Theodore was a devoted and loving father to Anne Lozier and her husband Mark, David Brower and his wife Lynn, James Brower, and Theodore Brower and his wife Jillian. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in each of their lives and accomplishments.

A man of deep faith, Theodore was a devoted follower of Jesus, whose life reflected kindness, humility, and compassion toward others. He was also a gifted artist and a dedicated educator for 31 years, sharing his passion for the arts with countless students throughout his career. He taught in the Baltimore County Public Schools; Middle River Middle School, Overlea High School, Perry Hall Christian School, and at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where he inspired creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Theodore found great joy in nature and was a true woodlands enthusiast, appreciating the quiet beauty and peace found among the trees. Whether through his art, his teaching, or his time spent outdoors, he embraced life with a thoughtful and creative spirit.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to ten grandchildren and a treasured great-grandfather to nineteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy. Theodore was the dear brother of Webster Prince Brower and his wife Marilyn, and he is also remembered fondly by his late brother and sister-in-law, John and Virginia Newburg. He is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward with affection.

Theodore will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steady presence, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy of faith, creativity, and devotion will live on in the many lives he touched.

Funeral services and interment will be held privately. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

The Brower family appreciates the prayers, love, and support extended to them during this difficult time.
