Vanessa B. Lawson (Barnes)

Vanessa Louise (nee Barnes) Lawson, age 67, of Waltherson in Baltimore City passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Born in Washington DC and raised in Prince George's County, MD, a daughter of the late Chaloner and Nora (nee Cusick) Barnes; beloved wife for 32 years to Ivan C. Lawson; devoted mother of Shea Lawson, Baltimore, MD; dear sister of Deborah Mahaney and her husband Michael, Cape Cod, MA; cherished aunt of Patrick Mahaney, New York City, NY, and Kathy Campbell, Ft. Meade, MD; proud great-aunt of Matthew Campbell; she is also survived by a host of loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Linden Heights United Methodist Church 9914 Harford Road Parkville, Md. 21234 on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
