William Boyden "Bill" Snyder Jr.

William Boyden Snyder, Jr. (Bill) passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, surrounded by the love and support of his family.

Bill was the devoted husband of Frances (née Muir) Snyder and a loving father to Denise Gendimenico and her husband Mark, Tracey Felts and her fiance Ed, William Boyden Snyder III (Bill) and his wife Stephanie, Dayna Harrod and her husband Bill, and Eric Snyder and his wife Rosalie. He was also a cherished stepfather to Mary C. Blake, Allen K. Burns and his wife Darlene, and Ronnie L. Adams.

As a proud grandfather, Bill’s legacy lives on through his 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

He is survived by his dear sister, Jaki Burns and her husband Tom, and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Bill was predeceased by his beloved parents, William Boyden Snyder, Sr. and Catherine Elizabeth (nee Burkins) Snyder and loving sisters, Phyllis Neely and Edna Carroll.

A proud Army veteran who served honorably before the Vietnam Era, Bill embodied dedication and resilience. He found joy in gardening and maintaining his lawn with meticulous care. Bill took pride in his successful career in real estate, and was known for his charm and generosity.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, funeral services and interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans organization (www.dav.org), a cause he held close to his heart.

The Snyder family deeply appreciates the prayers, love, and support extended to them during this time. Bill will be remembered for his steadfast love for his family, his service to his country, and the beautiful life he cultivated with care and devotion.
