William H. Wiley

William H. Wiley passed away on June 21, 2022 surrounded by loving family.

Bill was born in Washington D.C. to Frank H. Wiley and Leona Letson Wiley. He grew up in suburban Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. After graduation Bill joined the Air Force serving as a Navigator on B-52s during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by the mothers of his children, Fay Scramlin and Bonnie Corser children: Kimberly Wiley, the late Valerie Wiley Smith, Dana Gruebl and her husband Tony, Christian Wiley and Camille Wiley, five grandchildren Tommy and his wife Abby, Anna, Emmy, Max and Emma. Two great grandchildren Gwen and Cassidy. Bill was predeceased by his parents, brothers Robert and Frank jr.

Bill was very active and loved road trips around the country, sightseeing and bike riding. He especially enjoyed reminiscing over lunch with his fraternity brothers. Dave Drake, John Hochstein, Bud Orndorff and Gary Clarke.

He loved spending time with his family especially Sunday dinners. His passions included showing his children historical sites and adventures to new places.

Visitation will be at Lassahn Funeral Home, 11750 Bel Air Road, Kingsville, MD on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 3 to 5 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 5pm. Interment will be private.

If desired, in lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America.
