Since my grandmothers passing, I've reflected on all of the memories I was lucky enough to have shared with her. I am honored to have been her first grandchild and realize how lucky I was to have shared 41 years with her. She was like a second mother to me. She taught me so much over the years. I valued her opinion and tried to make her proud. I remember all of the long talks we had over the years and all of the stories she shared with me over coffee. She was a faithful Catholic and servantof God and the Blessed Mother. She was good to me and I will always be grateful to have had her as my grandmother. In her final days she expressed how much she loved all of her faimly and all equally and how much she would miss everyone. She also anticipated seeing her parents, siblings, and her husband again. I take great comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is at peace. MOM, I love you!!
