I first met Mike when he was at Gunpowder elementary in my daughters class. We went on many field trips. As the years went by, I periodically ran into Mikes Mom and Dad. Then one day, a few weeks ago, I was able to share my expertise as an X-ray technologist with Mike. He remembered my daughter and we chatted about her and about plans for the future school year. Mike was one of the friendliest young men I have ever met. He was very comfortable with talking to an almost total stranger. My Mom went to heaven 5 years ago. Hopefully, they will meet and My Mother will be able to help Mike with the rest of his journey.
