Obituary for Warren K. ""Buzz"" Smith, Jr.
On July 25, 2014 Warren Kemp Smith, Jr., “Buzz”, 92, of Upper Falls, Md. passed away surrounded by his loving family. Buzz was born in Fallston, Maryland. The son of the late Warren K. Smith, Sr. and Anna Regina (nee Shanahan) Smith. The husband of the late Frances Catherine (nee Link) Smith. Buzz is survived by his brother Charles Smith of Lewes, Deleware and ten children: Lorraine M. Tamasaukas, Christopher P. Smith, Rita L.Devine, Teresa E. Zeman, Marguerite A. Paradis, James M. Smith, John E. Smith, Joseph D. Smith, Stephen G. Smith and Robert F. Smith; loving grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church-Long Green Valley on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10am. The family will receive friends at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A. 11750 Belair Rd. (Kingsville) on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 4pm. Interment St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery, Long Green. If desired memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephens Church 8020 Bradshaw Rd. Kingsville, Md. 21087
