My mother-in-law went by many names Margaret, Marge or Daney.   Daney is a  version of Dainty, the name given to her by her grandfather because she was so shy and spoke so little.  She was raised during the depression which instilled hard work, gratitude, empathy and a waste-not mentality. She was Green even before Green was in.  Her love of flowers came from working in Mrs. Gardners florist on Rexis Ave.   Daney’s faith was monumental, she lived her faith and faith lived in her.  Her spirituality came through every single day in her words and actions.  Loving her husband and loving her children were paramount to her.  She sacrificed nothing to ensure  her family was full of love and understanding.  She judged no one and accepted everyone.   Miss you mom-mom.
