Obituary for Arthur Leroy Myers Jr.

On June 21, 2017, Arthur “Bud” L. Myers Jr. passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 96, at Glen Meadows Retirement Community. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Isabel “Marie” Myers. He was a devoted father survived by Judi Stone, Lois A. McFaul and her husband Dick and Arthur Myers III and Ridge Cotton, also survived by three grandchildren Joseph Stone, Rick McFaul and his wife Megan and Laurie McFaul, and one great grandchild Finn McFaul, devoted sister-in-law and friend Lois Myers and devoted brother-in-law and friend Roland Fisher and a wealth of nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his sister, Beverly Green and her husband Harry “Buddy” Green and their son Buddy, Henry “Dutch” Myers and his wife Doris and their son Jay and son-in-law Mike, Dorothy Hayes and her husband Richard and their son Richard, Louis Myers and Richard Myers and his son Gary.
Bud was born in Baltimore and resided in Hamilton, Ramblewood and Tilghman Island. He was a proud USMC WWII veteran and was much beloved by his family, friends and associates. He was a hard working, smart man who could fix anything – cars, appliances and the mills of Bethlehem Steel where he worked before and after his Marine Corp service in the Pacific. He enjoyed golfing and loved fishing the bays of Ocean City, MD with Marie and his buddies near his home in Montego Bay. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the Glen Meadows Retirement Community.

Family and friends will be received at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Moreland Memorial Park.
