My childhood best friend

She was the one I ran too and knocked on the door each day in the summer to come out and play. We played peoples on the porch, cops and robbers with our tight knit group of friends and spent our days and nights outside till the street light came on.. We had many sleepovers, trick or treated every year together swam in my pool, rode bikes in the alley ,and shared many of dinners at the little table.. If I didn't wake you up my mom knew you would be knocking soon enough.. We were what childhood friends would ever hope to be.. We fought over who would date the Karate Kid, if Sean Astin or Wil Weaton was hotter, sang our hearts out on the swings listening to 80's music, went to Bible school every summer together.. You were my childhood sister.. My heart aches for you and your family.. When I had to move at 14 I lost not only my best friend but the girl who knew me like no one else.. I miss and love you..
