The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Amy Lord can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Best Friend

I met Amy is seventh grade. we were instant friends. We did so much together from babysitting her nieces and nephews, sleepovers, trips to the mall, to ice skating on Friday nights. We went to the beach together. We worked at Wockenfuss together in high school and after high school we worked for the same after school daycare. We shopped together, and spent countless hours together. When we got "real" jobs, we moved in to our first townhouse with Christy. Living at 21 Benn Way was a great year. We were in each other's weddings, we had babies and through it all we remained best friends. I cannot remember a time in my life where Amy wasn't there. I have so much else to write but there isn't enough space to tell the story of our friendship. Her loss in a hole in my heart. I love you Amy, Always and Forever.
