On August 17, 2016 Dolores Ernestine (nee Cooper) Smoot beloved wife of Wilbert Charles Smoot; devoted mother of Anita Alexander and her husband Gregory Sr., Lucille Powell, Connita Henry and her husband Darius, Charles Smoot and his wife Helen, Zena Smoot and Byron Smoot; loving grandmother of Gregory Alexander, Jr., Ernest Alexander and his wife Joanna, Candice Henson, Priscilla Henley and her husband Michael, Stephen Lee, Savannah Smoot, Kai Massey and Dylan Henry; dear great grandmother of Daren Alexander, Rachel Alexander, Yvonne Alexander, Lucas Alexander and Payton Alexander, Danta Henson, Sydney Henson, Camron Henson and Kiyenna Nelson.
The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. in Overlea, 7401 Belair Road on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Further visiting will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 10am until 10:30am, at which time funeral services will begin. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
