Obituary for David John Draa

David John  Draa
On February 24, 2013 David John Draa, beloved fiance’ of Katie McDonough; devoted son of Marsha and John Draa; loving brother of Roy Draa and wife Dorilea; dear uncle of Michael, Noah, and Loralea.

1st Lieutenant Draa was a U.S. Marine, a member of the San Diego Police Department, gained a Master’s Degree in Special Education, taught at High Road School, was an Eagle Scout, and was a member of Kenwood Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at Kenwood Presbyterian Church, 4601 Fullerton Ave., Nottingham, MD 21236 on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 12 noon. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. If desired, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project: www.woundedwarriorproject.org, the ASCPA, the Fisher House Foundation: www.fisherhouse.org, or www.build.org/dc. The family would like to invite everyone to a gathering at Kenwood Presbyterian Church following the committal service for food and fellowship.

David's uncle can accomodate up to 15 people in his home. Davids' family will also be able to pick these people up at BWI airport.
